XRF Analyst

Ensure that department plans (including budget) are translated to section quality plans.Prepare and recommend raw mix (including pre-blended material) and coal mix design.Carried-out timely, accurate testing, adjustments (when necessary), and evaluation of results for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.Provide immediate feedback on test findings to production. • Investigate and implement corrections to observe abnormalities and deviations from quality targets.Implement quality management programs (such as quality audits) in his area of responsibility.Ensure accurate and timely input of data to the Record Book.Prepare necessary reports needed by assigned Work Area and other departments (Process audits, Sales, and Marketing)Regularly inspect and conduct preventive maintenance of XRF and laboratory equipment.Plan, monitor, and ensure availability of laboratory materials, supplies, and equipment spare parts.Calibrate and validate the performance of testing personnel and measuring equipment regularly.Plan and schedule work of Laboratory Technicians.Ensure adherence of personnel to operational procedures (QMS)Comply with OH&S rules and regulations.Participate in all OH&S activities.Actively participate in the Area Work Team in the conduct of improvement activitiesParticipate in process audits, trial runs, and optimization runs, by providing sampling, testing, and evaluation support

QUALIFICATIONS

BS Chemical Engineering/BS ChemistryAt least two (2) years of experience in cement manufacturing or any industrial laboratory environmentLicense preferred but not requiredEquipment operation and basic maintenance (including calibration) Quality control,Familiarity with the Cement manufacturing processProblem-solving SamplingSample preparation and testingKnowledge of the use of statistical toolsKnowledgeable in ASTM/PNS requirements Know how in Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
